Our woven and printed labels are made of top quality highly resistant polyester threads which are durable, colourfast and experience minimal shrinkage. Our labels are designed to outlast the garment they are attached to!

All of our labels are produced with a very tight weave and hot cut to exact dimensions - this technique seals the label edges and prevents fraying.

The process is really simple!

• Design your product using our easy to use online design tool - just follow the simple step by step instructions.
• When you have designed your labels, go to check out and select the payment method of your choice.
• After your order and payment is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation.
• Once your order is complete and ready for shipment, you will receive an email update which includes shipping confirmation.
• Remember to check for spelling mistakes and that the colours are correct before submitting your order.

We accept all safe and commonly used credit cards including Visa & Mastercard. You can also pay using bank transfer (Direct Deposit) or use PayPal.

Since our products are custom made just for you, our policy is to have payment in full prior to production. Therefore payment upon delivery is not available.

We also offer volume discounts which means the larger quantity you order, the price per label drops.

And finally, we also offer product discounts. This means that you will receive a discount when 2 or more products are combined in 1 order:

• For 2 products, the discount is 2%
• For 3 products, the discount is 3%
• For 4 products, the discount is 4%
• For 5 products, the discount is 5%

The Enhanced Colour option (also known as Pure Colour) means that an additional layer of thread is woven into the label background colour. This extra thread brightens and strengthens the background colour so that the font thread colour does not "bleed" through the background. This option is highly recommended for label designs using a light coloured background and dark text. A perfect example would be a white label with red text. Without the enhanced colour option, the white background colour could appear slightly pink due to the red thread from the font.

Enhanced colour can be used to brighten up any label.

FILE EXTENSION / FILE TYPE
The following file extensions are accepted: JPG, JPEG, TIFF and PDF.

RESOLUTION
All our products require a minimum resolution of 300dpi, (300 pixels per inch) to guarantee best quality labels

Woven Labels - resolution example
For Woven Labels you can select the size, for example: 3.0 in. x 2.0 in. (7.6 cm x 5 cm)

- 3.0 in. x 300dpi = 900 pixels
- 2.0 in. x 300dpi = 600 pixels

==> The resolution of the image in this example should be at least 900 x 600 pixels

Printed Labels - resolution
Printed labels are available in 3 different sizes, the minimum Pixel requirements are as follows:

6.0 cm x 1.2 cm (approx. 2 1/2 in. x 1/2 in.) -> 750 x 150 pixels
6.0 cm x 1.5 cm (approx. 2 1/2 in. x 9/16 in.) -> 750 x 169 pixels
6.0 cm x 2.0 cm (approx. 2 1/2 in. x 13/16 in.) -> 750 x 244 pixels

COLOURS

Woven Labels
In the Upload Your File section of the design tool, the exact colours need to be specified. Pantone codes are clearly stated to ensure it's easy to select the exact colours.  You must have the Pantone colours of your logo / artwork at hand.
- The number of colours in the upload file needs to match the number of colours you selected in the tool.
- Shadows, tiny patterns, colour gradients and small text cannot always be weaved. When in doubt, please contact us.

Printed Labels
Colours for the uploaded file should be set to "CMYK". CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and blacK. This is a type of colour setting relevant to printing. You can change this setting in Photoshop or other imaging software. For more information regarding changing this CMYK check out this blog post.

SHAPE
The minimum text measurement is 0.2 cm tall.
Your logo or artwork must be uploaded in the same shape and proportions as your chosen label shape. Example, if you choose a square label, make sure your uploaded file is cropped into a square shape as well.
All label designs need 3 to 5 mm free of artwork around the border. This space will later be used to sew in your label.
If you choose the taffeta edging, this edge will be added to the original measurement of your label design. You do not need to add this measurement yourself, we will take care of it for you.

• It's important to consider how you will attached your label and what seam allownce you need before finalising your order. We offer several different options which will provide a sufficient space seam allowance without compromising the design/logo of your label.
• Choose the "Taffeta" option and a 0.63 cm seam allowance will be added to both sides of your label.
• Choose the option "Folded Edges" when designing your bespoke woven label and a 0.63 cm seam allowance will be added to both sides of the label
• Choose the "Iron on" option when designing your label if you rather iron on your labels. A strong adheasive will be added to the back of the label which will allow you to use a hot iron to attach your labels. (see instructions above)

TIPS & TRICKS

• Make sure to include a seam allowance for sewing in your labels. This ensures that the design of your logo or artork will not be impacted by the seam once sewn in.
• For best results and a greal looking label design, choose high contrast colours. A black background with dark brown text would not produce a nice result.
